Small Tonga village
This village down the road was in somewhat drier terrain. I just managed to capture a bird in flight also in this shot from the car window.
Amazing landscapes nearing Siavonga
The road to Siavonga is a very nice drive. With aid of the Americans the road is now in pristine condition. The landscape is amazing and made me think of the Pyrenees. All the different coloured trees make it a very nice mosaic.
Kafue River and Queen
Later when staying in Lusaka we took a trip on this small boat that was very enjoyable and quiet. Nice to watch the fish eagles and other raptors. I was surprised to see so many people fishing along the banks with small sticks to catch a few breams.
Kafue River
A picture of the Kafue River next to the bridge south of Kafue. Like the Zambezi the Kafue flows counter clockwise around Lusaka but is much closer (this place is about 50 km from Lusaka). I had to stop to watch some water of course after the many miles of dry landscape.

Maliwa doing the laundry
Without a machine laundry is a tedious job. I did a tiny bit, but most was done by the maid and my lover.
Namata and Lulu
Namata (aka Precious) is Maliwa's elder sister, working as a principal accountant for the government and Lulu her youngest daughter.
