Kenneth Kaunda
On another walk with Clive in between trips I came along Kenneth Kaunda's former house in Chilenje. Kenneth Kaunda had a hard time ruling Zambia being landlocked and in conflict with the economically most important countries in the region: Rhodesia (Zimbabwe) and South Africa. He lost the presidential elections after a long history of economic decline, but is still very much respected in Zambia. We could take a short peek on the grounds and in front of the house I took a picture of this memorial stone.
